Here's our most liked picture ever on Facebook. Even beat out the pictures of us announcing a child was born. The force is strong with the Star Wars fandom! We had a great time at the ward party, our neighbor's party, and trick or treating. I do have to include the below picture as well. M only agreed to be Princess Leia for the ward party if she could be Doc McStuffins for trick or treating and at school. I was willing to make that deal to have everyone have the same theme for one night! Since she is afternoon kindergarten, her class missed the all school parade in the gym but got to parade into individual classrooms in the school instead. I thought it was great because I didn't get good pictures in the gym because it was so crowded. The best part was when we entered D's classroom and he gave her a big hug as she came near his desk. My Irish twins are so sweet together. K, D, and M have informed me I have to sign N up for preschool at their school so they can have a chance to see her too. Can't fight that argument even though I only sent them to at-home preschools. I will sign N up for their school and hope we don't get in and then send her to Miss Stacey's instead. Ba ha ha.
The tail end of summer has been so much fun. The weather has been fantastic and we've all had special occasions to look forward to. First up, a family party for Natalie's softball team that included pizza, whiffle ball, and seeing the girls just have a good time together as a team. Here's my favorite photo from when Michelle helped her friend, A, celebrate her 16th birthday. Although she has been friends with A & Z since her time at the Waldorf school, Michelle ended up hanging out with a lot of strangers and had a wonderful time. I love seeing her branch out and make new connections while maintaining her core friend group. Homecoming week included a BBQ, Powder Puff game and drone show, parade past the middle school where I was volunteering at the Rattler Run, plus a very exciting football game that even Hubby attended by being one of the basketball parents to man the concession stand. Danny did a great job tossing candy instead of throwing it and the basket...
