Spring Break in 2019

The morning after Meigo’s doggy birthday party we flew to San Diego for Spring Break. The airport and flight were a breeze — I like leaving the house at the normal time for school to catch a plane. The hotel shuttle was super easy and thumbs up for our Wyndham San Diego Bayside hotel and its super convenient location. The first thing the children wanted to do was go swimming at the pool even though it was only 65°. If there are palm trees, they will swim! Hazelwood Deli on the Bay did not disappoint for a lunch/after school snack. We peddled ourselves around in a surrey and the children got henna tattoos before playing at a fantastic park right across the street from our hotel. Hubby took K and D to swim again while I got M and N bedtime snacks and ready for bed. March & Madness

Looking at my calendar & to do list in March had a tendency to raise my heart rate & breathing! We survived me being the cookie mom! If this is not a big deal to you, let’s just say I spent about 15 hours just getting all the numbers right in the computer and depositing the money. For just that part. It has been hard on our whole family and I have promised to never ever do that again. I was pleasantly surprised that even though I felt like I was neglecting my own daughters in their sales, M was still that top seller in her troop and N sold the second most in her troop. A big thank you to all those who purchased Girl Scout cookies this year!   Now that cookie season is over I am trying to catch up on all the things I didn’t get done while I was working on cookie stuff.
