Admitting it's a little intimidating to be tagged by my husband's sister... What is his name?  Daniel Wayne How did you meet?  We both moved to Centennial Apts. Spring 2001.  I was one of the FHE co-chairs & he was one of the dads.  We ended up talking for hours after I told him how to do his job.  (: How long have you been married?  4 years, 9 months, & 4 days How long did you date?  Ummm... if you only count time we were in the same state & before we were engaged... 2 months.  If you count long distance too, 23 months. How old is he?  The big 3-0!!! How old are you? 27 (thank goodness I'm not 30!) Who eats more sweets?  Danny, hands down!  I don't know if he'd ever eat 'real' food if he didn't have to. Who is taller?  Hello!  That almost 10" gap should be pretty clear. Who is the better singer?  Considering I've only really heard him sing while I was the primary chorister, we might have to say I do just b/c I know the words....

What a beautiful weekend!  Meigou was the biggest helper in letting Danny & I work in the garden.  Kaelah was on a blanket in the shade and the dog would entertain her by chasing a ball or chewing on a toy right next to her.  Meanwhile, the adults got to look like murderers burying dead bodies by the way we were using a pick ax to break up the dirt to put in the last of four planter boxes.  Then the humans got in Dan's truck, went to Kaelah's first soccer game (great job, Eric, Stewart, Mark & Dave!), and then it took us four hours to go around town collecting supplies and plants.  Oh, at the Flower Bin one of the women working there looks a lot like Kaelah's aunt Kendra.  Kaelah was so excited to see this person that she held her arms out to her... and Danny & I had quite a hard time convincing Kaelah to come home with us!  I'm glad we're planning a trip to UT next month or else I may not have had the heart to leave the store so soon! Meigou was overjoy...

We enjoyed the wonderful weather at some friends this afternoon.  The photos aren't the clearest, from my phone that is near death, but they are fun to see.    Kaelah learned to jump on the tramp for the first time (everybody jumped up and down nice and cautious ;-) ).  Her new sun hat is so big it looks like it is covering her entire head. Kaelah took a big long nap while we ate the delicious BBQ.  When she woke up she decided to look for leftovers on the table. The last few days brought a few firsts, she learned how to click her tongue off the roof of her mouth and does it incessantly when begging for something you are eating.  There is also a small debate going around the house about what was Kaelah's official first word.  She has been saying "Dad" for about a month now, but she doesn't seam to realize the meaning.   She has also started to say "Dog" when ever she sees Meigou (we even had this confirmed by an outsider :-) ).  So her first real word wa...

Thought you might like this pix. Danny took after church today.  We also had my parents over for Easter dinner & played "Ticket to Ride: Europe" afterwards.  Great fun!  I also got Danny "Pirate's Cove" for an Easter present and it was a great game too.  Happy Easter!
