The tail end of summer has been so much fun. The weather has been fantastic and we've all had special occasions to look forward to. First up, a family party for Natalie's softball team that included pizza, whiffle ball, and seeing the girls just have a good time together as a team. Here's my favorite photo from when Michelle helped her friend, A, celebrate her 16th birthday. Although she has been friends with A & Z since her time at the Waldorf school, Michelle ended up hanging out with a lot of strangers and had a wonderful time. I love seeing her branch out and make new connections while maintaining her core friend group. Homecoming week included a BBQ, Powder Puff game and drone show, parade past the middle school where I was volunteering at the Rattler Run, plus a very exciting football game that even Hubby attended by being one of the basketball parents to man the concession stand. Danny did a great job tossing candy instead of throwing it and the basket...
When K, D, and N had a four day weekend they ended up playing with neighbors on Friday (including D getting to go the trampoline park with his best friend) and going to the mall on Monday.
Bob Ross on Netflix was a hit at our house, so when we say this display, the girls wanted to take a picture.
Do you see how red D is? He had a super spicy foot long at Subway. I don't know how he does it!
Rolled up ice cream = the best part of a day off school for these little ones.
I thought this was so cute form K going to Activity Days I had to include it. K's best friend, C, has been attending regularly enough that the leader just assumes she'll be there. (:
M had an early release day where I took her and N out for pizza near her school and we did things like go to the public library -- something M had been begging to do!
N was thrilled with this Sunbeam lesson take away!

The same week K, D, and N had off Monday, just the preschool had a day off on Friday. She got to go to the zoo with her best friend -- the place she had been wanting to go and they were going too. N wasn't buying that 8' tall giraffe was actually a baby! It was so much fun and it turns out Halloween is the best time to go and they have vegan Dole Whips now. Yes!
