Welcome to 2019

The new  year brought some firsts for us. We loved going up to Loveland Laser Tag together before the children started back at school.  We couldn't take pictures while we were have a blast (he he) but here are a couple pictures from the arcade we would play at while we were waiting for the next round of laser tag to begin. M began her horse riding lessons and absolutely loves them. Hubby says he can see her being a stable girl and be willing to work her way to more time riding when she is older. She has wanted lessons for a long time and I am glad she is thrilled with them.  She seems to be a natural. Getting K’s volleyball uniform was pretty exciting but watching them win their very first set was even better. Club volleyball is so much more fun to watch. There were some incredible back and forth moments. Even though they had a hard loss the next game they came back to almost beat the last team they played. 90 Day Challenge

We finished off last year pretty calmly after going on the best vacation of our lives the week after Thanksgiving.  This year we had a wonderful week in Utah before having a couple pretty chill days.  Last night K and M were still awake to watch the ball drop in New York City via a live stream with Hubby and I.  So at a little after 10pm we said good night to our girls and were satisfied with our year. Christmas with Extended Family

We had the most wonderful time at Mark and Kendra’s house from Dec 22-29. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. When we arrived they even had their Elf on the Shelf ready and waiting for 4 extra children. We felt so loved and wanted.   During our stay we had plenty of relaxing mornings but still got to do lots of fun things. On Sunday we went to church with my mission friend, Emily, and her family and then ate lunch, taught them how to play Killer Bunnies, and decorated mini gingerbread houses and sugar cookies. After that we got to head to Hubby’s Grandma’s house to see her and aunts, uncles and cousins (some we haven’t gotten to see for at least a year and a half). I was touched when Hubby’s grandma making sure I knew what foods I could eat for my GF/Dairy Free needs. I love being around the W family. They are such a fun group. Afterwards we headed to the cemetery when Hubby’s Grandpa and aunt are buried and enjoyed the tree of life decorated for Christmas and to be reminded ...
