Thought you might like this pix. Danny took after church today.  We also had my parents over for Easter dinner & played "Ticket to Ride: Europe" afterwards.  Great fun!  I also got Danny "Pirate's Cove" for an Easter present and it was a great game too.  Happy Easter!

One day they are a little tiny puppy & 4 years later they're older than you are.  Well, she's older than me now.  I can't say the same for Danny.  (:   After donning the Scooby Doo party hats, we headed to the back yard to sing "happy birthday" and watch Meigou enjoy her home-baked treat.  She also received a wonderful pull toy from Gma & Gpa B.  Happy 4th Birthday, beautiful dog!

Kaelah & I had the great opportunity to go to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science with some friends last Thursday.  Most of the pix. didn't turn out well due to lighting, but here is one of Kaelah watching Ethan (age 22 months) moving the space shuttle.  Ethan loved the dinosaurs most & Kaelah loved the gems & minerals exhibit -- oooo -- bright shiny sparkling things in there!  My father was oh so proud to hear it (having been a science teacher).  We're planning on going again in May to see the traveling exhibit, "Gold -- Wealth, Beauty, Power."  Give me some of that!

I wonder if Kaelah would like more days like today or if she's just as content with her normal life. It's difficult to tell with how moody teething has made her (yes, she's cutting those 2 bottom front teeth). Kaelah had her first experience with sand today at the Flatiron Crossing Mall sand box. She LOVED being outside (me too!). After we got home, we played fetch with Meigou in the back yard & all three of us had a blast with that too. We're sooo lucky! Happy 8 mo. b-day, Kaelah!!!!

Oh, it's so hard to believe! 5 years ago (last Wednesday) I said farewell to the magnificent island of Taiwan and returned to 'normal life' after being a missionary for exactly 18 months. In a dream world, I would jump on a plane with Kaelah and Danny and I would go back to visit right now! Of course, they wouldn't let us on the plane b/c sweet Kaelah doesn't have her ssn yet & Danny's as sick as a dog, but I did say, 'dream world.' (: But, I am planning on taking a Chinese conversational class this fall from CU Boulder to brush up on Mandarin and I'm very excited to do so.

After waking up to snow this morning, I am even happier that our family went out and enjoyed the wonderful 70º weather yesterday! Meigou was so excited to be at the lake that she had a very hard time listening to us, but it seemed as though the other dogs were having the exact same problem. (: We also put Kaelah in the great backpack Kelly gave to us for the first time. So convenient and Kaelah liked it a lot too (as you can see by the pictures). We are so grateful!
