Happy Thanksgiving!

The first Saturday of November we got to watch our niece, A., play in the state high school volleyball finals. It was great to see her young team take 3rd Place and really fun to watch my husband watch her play. That night Hubby took M to a Girl Scout Me and My Guy dance. She had so much fun and was asking if we could put on a dance like that for the Activity Day girls. We definitely need to get more date nights on the calendar!   The next day my mom watched the girls while my dad and I went to the regional broadcast and Hubby took D to his double header flag football games. So great for D to have one on one time with with his dad doing very manly things.  Thanks to my friend, E, having N over for a play date, I got to help chaperone K’s field trip to Ameritowne. It was great to see every 5th grader having a job and watching the community run. K was a doctor in the health clinic and my assignment was to help in Towne Hall. Happy Halloween '18

Yes, it has been over a month since my last, so fun, blog entry!  We had a wonderful time and I was grateful to say hello to the rest of my family again but sadly I came home with either food poisoning from Chipotle at the airport or the stomach flu and was a wreck after we got home. Whatever it was turned into something else that kept me tired for weeks. I often fell asleep putting the children to bed and felt like I just couldn’t move at full speed. Last week (and after several appointments with my favorite chiropractor for the first time in 4 years) my limp is completely gone from my sprained this summer and I feel like I’m working at full power again. Such a relief. Crossing my fingers I can stay well for a while.  Poor Hubby had to pull a lot of extra weight while having to do a ton of time critical things at work while I was out of town and sick. And our renters moved out in the middle of all that too because they purchased their first house. Thank you for being a wonde...
