Making progress

What a treat to come back from out of town to see a lot of progress made on our house.  It's amazing what one month can do in a building project once things really get going! Framing finished. Siding on.  Patio poured. Back fence up. Dry wall up. Cabinets in. A big trip from our current home to the thrift store. Landscaping in the park area before our house in. Waiting for the landscaper we hired to do the back yard after closing. Backsplash, counters, double ovens & microwave in.  (They had to rip the counters out b/c a worker used them as a work bench & scratched them all up!)  They still have a lot to do before we move in, but we are keeping our fingers crossed and packing up our current home!  (It is early in the morning & Michelle and I are the only ones awake.  She is sitting on my lap, snuggling.  I asked her how she felt about moving b/c it seems to be bothering her & the dog the mo...

N's 1st Road Trip

When we first heard about Dan's family reunion, we were bummed our house would be closing the same week so we couldn't go.  I supposed you could say, "luckily for us" the house was delayed an entire month so we could attend after all.  Seeing family for the first time in way too long was wonderful.  So many smiles and the best, longest water gun fight ever!  Natalie got to meet wonderful aunts and uncles, cousins, and Great Grandma for the first time.  This was also my first time seeing my new nephews.  Dan's parents now have 23 grandchildren and another due to arrive about the time they get home from their mission in January.   3 brothers with 3 babies born in March, April, & May. The last time Dan's parents went on a mission, these 5 were born in 9 months. Could Kaelah be any happier?  These 3 were born in 2 months. I was so happy we got to attend my best friend's baby's blessing that Sunday.  You coul...
