Pumpkin Ranch

Yesterday was a blast! I highly recommend the Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch. See how excited she was after seeing the sights as we drove in? That yellow ribbon around her neck is her name badge so she can go to work. Fraggle Rock has taught her working is good and fun and hey, Daddy goes to work a lot, so why not? As Kaelah rode in the stroller she caught sight of the car ride & requested to do that first. Here I am imagining tears as she went by herself, but Dan strapped her in & she was just fine. After our trip to Disneyland in May, I was shocked at how brave she was!!! My dad & I stood there in amazement & decided she's officially a little girl now. Kaelah was too smart for those steering wheels too. As soon as she realized it didn't respond she stopped holding on to it. Here's Daddy getting a great big "thank you" hug after riding in the car. Petting Zoo. Train ride. Danny was angelic, as usual! Here he is smiling at Grandpa while f...

4 pix. 2 celebrate 4 mo.

Danny J. loves loves loves to play play play! We got the gym back out & I also scored some great toys at garage sales this summer just for him. Good thing, b/c he's not a huge fan of rattles like Kaelah was. Speaking of big sister, she's experiencing having to share items with baby brother for the first time. Didn't go over so well the first week, but now she's doing great! Kaelah (or anyone) can't help but love him. Enjoying nibbling on his toes. We have to do lint checks before we change diapers to make sure he doesn't get jam in his mouth when he eats his feet. lol. Our boy is a great sleeper too. He only wakes up once during the night (most nights), drinks a 6 oz. bottle, & goes right back to sleep. He'll wake up again around 6:30 or 7am, drink 4 oz., & go back to sleep. Since Kaelah wakes up around 7:30 or 8am, I place Danny next to Daddy & let those 2 chill for as long as possible -- aka when Kaelah decides it's time for t...

Unhappy Half B-day but Happy Fair

Meigo hasn't been getting a whole lot of attention since our newest addition came alone. She's actually being treated more like a dog. lol. She's an angel of a dog & I thought it would be nice if Meigo could have some special attention on September 22nd b/c it was her half b-day. Here's the new rope toy she got as a present. Then Grandma was nice enough to take her out to run in the cold. Meigo mysteriously got hurt when she went to the dog park. The same thing had happened to her 2.5 years ago, so I didn't even try to figure it out this time. Our best guess is she ran into the fencing to hard while chasing the ball. We'll never really know, though. Meigo had to have 4 stitches. Here she is right after coming home. (The t-shirt keeps her from having to wear a cone.) Unhappy half-birthday! I'm just glad my mom noticed she was hurt b/c Meigo was having too much fun to say anything. That's a lab for you, I guess! On the 26th we made our ann...

Farewell to Summer

We love having a vegetable garden to harvest from. Here's Danny showing off our biggest carrot of the season. Later I had to harvest the last of the carrots as the snow began to fall! This picture makes me want to sing a song about Grandpas. (: My parents have been such a blessing to have around! These two are perfect siblings for each other. Kaelah provides the love & laughter while Danny provides the patience & smiles. ha ha. My children are full blown football fans now. Between BYU & Fantasy Football teams to root for, there's a game to watch every weekend. Tonight Dan had Kaelah telling Peyton Manning to throw the football & making a throwing motion. Hilarious. Here they are in their BYU colors a couple weekends ago. Summer, where did you go?
