Little Kae's First Baseball Game

Mets vs. Rockies -- the sure way for us to never be let down because they are the only two teams we root for.  (:  Kaelah did really well.  I had to laugh because around  the 7th inning all the children under the age of 2 could be seen walking around with a parent or two, so Kaleah had a blast looking at all the other children after she decided she needed up out of our seats.  I think we'll be going to more Mets/Rockies games in the future!

Strawberry Girl

Last Saturday we spent quite a bit of time on the garden.  Here's a little clip of Kaelah eating weeds -- strawberry plants that had grown into where we wanted to put down wood chips.  Kaelah makes me crack up every single day.  And now that she can crawl around she finds things that I wouldn't even ponder for a second.  How on earth did she get to be 10 months old already?!? As of today, our garden is finally put in.  It took us 3 years -- yes, it honestly did.  Danny planned it in '06, began in '07, & now finished in '08.  Kind of anti-climatic, but one more thing to cross off the to-do list.  (:

Happy Birthday Gma & Gpa B!

Kaelah is getting to be such a big girl.  She loves (aka demands) to eat the food we are eating.  Last week both Grandma & Grandpa B. had their birthdays.  We celebrated at Applebeee's for Gma (but I forgot the camera).  Last night we went to the wonderful Pinocchio's restaurant, where I always make sure to order something I cannot pronounce & then point to that item on the menu when the waiter comes.  Well, when Grandma was done eating she rescued Kaelah from the high chair & Kaelah adored sitting in between the birthday couple.  My mother says she is so grateful she didn't have to wait until she was 63 to become a grandmother like her mother did & was more than happy to announce to the waiter that these birthdays & this Mother's Day were the first as grandparents.  Awww.  Kaelah has no chance of not being a spoiled girl.  And everyone around us kept telling us how beautiful & well behaved Kaelah was.  Kudos to one adorable baby!  (:  This gave...

Kaelah's 9.5 Month Check-up

The only 'bad' part of seeing the most popular pediatrician around is that your check-ups are not  exact, but they tell me it's okay.  (: Height: 29.75 inches -- 96% Weight: 19.5 pounds -- 50% Head: off the charts (as usual) To the left you can see one of Kaelah's new favorite hobbies:  taking books off the bookcase.  She is becoming quite adept at playing & standing at the same time.  Yup, she's cruising but not crawling!  We're still hoping for a couple months of crawling before walking & Kaelah seems sooo close to being able to do it.  Any day now....

A week in the life of Kaelah

"I'm not sure whether to be okay with or to complain about the helmet.   Luckily I have this toy cell phone." "You got me all ready to go to the park -- now what's taking you so long?" "But I like being in the tub this long, mama." "Zzzzz...."
